Being a Plant Technician
As a Manufacturing Plant Technician, you will do various types of work which includes: operating and maintaining the equipment that runs our process, troubleshooting process problems, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, performing quality checks, and leading continual improvements in your area of ownership.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM?


The Sacramento Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week. We rely on local talent and relocation is generally not paid. Technicians work any day of the week, including weekends. Work on weekends may be as overtime or as part of the Technician's normal schedule. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. The hours of work vary from 8 to 12 hours per day. Initially you will begin on a rotating 12 hour shift pattern. As you advance in your career there may be opportunities to move into a career path with an 8 hour day shift rotation. All technicians are expected to be willing to rotate and to work any shift. Additional days could be required to be worked as overtime. Are you ready to join this renowned team?

OLEOCHEMICALS
We are a leading global manufacturer of oleochemicals, consistently delivering solutions and creating value for our customers.
MIDCUT AND HEAVYCUT FATTY ALCOHOLS
P&G Sacramento produces Midcut and Heavycut Fatty Alcohols from sustainable natural feedstock as well as a broad range of short chain, medium chain, and long chain Fatty Acids. Other products include the highest quality glycerin for our customer formulations, as well as a full portfolio of methyl esters.
